We, at Authentic Custom Homes, believe in a true custom home. Kenyon and Brandi Woods started this company with the vision of offering customers an affordable custom home, from 1450 square feet and up.
Kenyon is a Certified Professional Builder through the State Homebuilders Association and he is a member of both the State and National Homebuilders Associations. At the end of 2010, Kenyon was elected to the Board of Directors for the Central Oklahoma Homebuilders Association. He will serve for a term of two years. He was also appointed as the Vice-Chair of the 2011 Parade of Homes! In 2012 Kenyon will be Chair of the Parade of Homes.
Kenyon is not only a builder, but a designer. He has been a designer of floor plans for many years. His passion is designing new plans or making changes to his existing floor plans to make it a unique home. In fact, you will often find that he has built two houses with the same floor plan, yet, they each have unique differences. This is the thought behind our motto: "Build an Original!
He is very involved in each home he builds. In fact, if you ask him, he will tell you that even though the company has grown rapidly over the past few years, he wants the hands on, day to day interaction with his crew. Kenyon feels that is the only way that he can insure superior workmanship on each Authentic Custom Home.
Kenyon and Brandi have been married for 13 years, have a son in Kindergarten and a baby girl. When the company first began, Brandi was working full time in the medical field, yet was the decorator, landscaper, and accountant for Authentic Custom Homes! As the company grew, it became impossible to be all of those things - so in 2009, she began working with Kenyon full time. Now, she says, "the landscaping and decorating are left to the true professionals!" and she manages the "business" side of the company (contracts, accounting, sales team, etc.)
Kenyon and Brandi take great pride in their company and the homes they build. They are constantly visualizing something different, newer, more functional or decorative, and they put that vision into their homes.
We want you to be able to put that same special touch into the home that we build for you! What do you like? What would work best for you and your family? How can we make this home uniquely yours?
Not only are you able to choose your brick, paint colors, flooring, tile, and countertops in a meeting with an interior decorator, but we also give you a lighting allowance. You will meet with a lighting specialist who will be there to assist you with personally selecting all of your lighting. We feel that lighting really gives a home a lot of personality, and that is why we do not offer standard lighting packages here at Authentic Custom Homes.
It is always fun for us to go in and see what type of lighting our buyers choose for their homes! We have seen traditional, contemporary, retro, and some fun, sparkling lights!
In addition to all of the selections listed above, we also give an allowance for mirrors. Some buyers choose to go with our standard mirrors, but most have opted to go shopping for their own mirrors, thus, giving their custom home even more of that personal touch.
You as a home buyer are entrusting us with your largest financial investment. We understand that building a home can be stressful and our goal is to make this a very enjoyable experience for you and your family. You will have direct access to our team, through our sales manager, Stacie Rhodes, at 595-1000. Direct access to Kenyon is not difficult at all, as he is at the various job sites from 8 am to 5 pm, and is very approachable.
Because we are a small family run business, we do not have the overhead of many of our competitors. This savings will be passed directly to the customer and because of this we offer standard features that others can not. You can also rest assured that Kenyon will be on the job site daily (often two to three times) to ensure superior quality workmanship in your home.
